About

Laura Sucre graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in May of 2014. She was born in Venezuela but was raised in several different countries, where she found her love for art and cultural exposure. Although she trained to be a painter, Laura discovered her passion for graphic design during her time at MICA. As a designer, she enjoys incorporating her fine art background and multi-cultural perspective into her work.

Immediately following MICA, she joined the Ashton Design team, where she worked on one of the company's biggest corporate re-brands as well as other print, environmental, and web projects. After working at Ashton, she traveled and moved to Mexico where she worked on several freelance branding and print projects.

In 2018, she pursued her Masters degree in Publication Design at Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid, Spain. She currently lives in Mexico City where she works as Art Director for Climate & Capital Media and does freelance work for various clients.
