The following project is a re-brand proposal made for the well-known Spanish cooking blog, Recetas de Rechupete. The client looked to target a younger audience between the ages of 18 and 30 without losing their original and older readers, update their general look and feel, and widen their monetization options.
After an extensive research phase alongside Giuliana Oione, Carmen Bustillos and Fernanda Huesca, we landed on a visual solution that was fresh, familiar, vibrant, and friendly. We maintained the brand’s essence by simply creating a more modern version of their logo and by livening up their tone of red. Overall, our primary focus was to create a user experience was easy to navigate both on desktop and mobile.
